"4 Spiritual Laws vs Salvation by Faith (Grace) only"

Hi, John,

I do agree with you that not all of Israelites who fell lost their salvation. If any of them truly repented until they fell, I believe they went to heaven. However, I think the rapture is a judgment excuted for all who are alive at the mement. Whoever lifted will have been determined to enter the kingdom and whoever not lifted, not worthy to enter. But, that's another topic and I thought I'd give you a quick feedback.

Could you post the letter below?

Thanks.

Dear Doves,

A few days ago, I came to this ludicrous realization that the famous '4 spiritual laws of Christianity' is in direct contradiction with the theory 'Salvation by Faith only'.

Before I go on to show you that, I'd like to ask all who believe in 'Salvation by Faith only' this question.

Do you believe that denying one's self and following Jesus is an absolute requirement for salvation?

If you are a genuine believer of 'Salvation by Faith only', your answer should be 'No'. You believe that one's saved by Faith (believing and relying on what Jesus did on the cross' only, not by daily denial of myself and living according to the will of the Lord.

But, 'the 4 spiritual laws' lists the 'Lordship' as a REQUIREMENT  for becoming a Christian (i.e, be saved).

One of the 4 laws says, to be saved, you have to let Jesus inside of you and Jesus has to sit on your throne instead of yourself. He has to be the Lord of you and your life, so that you don't live according to your will but according to Jesus' will in your life.

This is one of the very basic essences of being a Christian. Either Jesus is sitting on a person's throne right now, or he is not a Christian. He is not saved.

This is exactly what it means to deny one's self and follow Jesus, folks. Those two propositions are one and the same.

That is why Jesus said, 'If anyone wants to follow me, he has to deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow me. Whoever does not take up his cross and follow me, is not worthy of me.'

'Worthy of me' means he is not worthy to receive me. How can anyone be saved without Jesus? He is not associated with Jesus; he is not saved. Because, Jesus is not just savior but Lord. That is why he is Savior AND Lord.

There you see it; The 4 Spiritual Laws of Christianity, which is elementary for becoming a Christian is in direct contradiction of the 'Salvation by Faith only'.

P.s, If the 4 Spiritual laws are the truth, the gate gets considerably narrower. (Strive to enter through the narrow gate) Just think of all the Chrisitians who put their faith on Jesus Christ, but are hesistating to give their lives to Jesus. So, repent and obey Jesus in your life. This is a requirement for salvation, not an extra curriculum for receiving reward.
