"REPLY To  " EAR" & SHANTHINI'S 4/21 Posts -- What War Comes Next  Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38? "

I want to thank both EAR and Shanthini for taking the time to reply to my 4/19 post called Isralestine: Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38, "Which Is the Next Middle East News Headline?"  Thanks for your imput on this subject.

I think it makes sense EAR that Ezekiel 38 would be the Gog-Magog war that is in Revelation 20:8 which takes place after the end of the Millenium because Israel will be dwelling safely in the land at that time.  Also thanks for your explanation of the four corners of the earth below in Rev. 20:8 which helped me immensely in tying this together for me.

"6. a)   Satan is then released to deceive the remaining rebels – Gog and Magog from the four quarters of the earth (Rev. 20:8 and Ezekiel 38:5)   They are composed of  Persia from the East, Ethiopia from the South, Libya from the West, and Gomer and Togarmah from the North.  At this time Israel has recovered from the “sword experience”, is gathered out of all the nations, is wealthy and at peace without walls. (Ezek. 38:11-12)"

Also in thinking about it some more, and after reviewing the chronological order of the events given by the author of Isralestine in my 4/21 post at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/apr2008/donnad421-2.htm which are as follows:

1. The Psalm 83 war
2. The Magog Invasion Ezekiel 38-39
3. The "little horn" sequence of events, culminating in the tribulation period
4. The return of the Messiah for the faithful Jewish Remnant, at the end of the Trib period

I do not see how the events of Ezekiel 38 & 39 can take place before the Little Horn Antichrist events of the book of Daniel because Ezekiel 38:20 tells us "the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground" so the Temple Mount would fall along with the Mount of Olives falling and the walls of the houses in Jerusalem, and then the Temple would have to be built for the Antichrist to sit in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 along with rebuilding up the Temple Mount itself and rebuilding up the Mount of Olives because at the second coming, Jesus has to put his feet on the Mount of Olives according to Zechariah 14:3-4.  It would certainly be a tremendous work project to build the fallen Temple Mount back up again along with the Temple to sit on it besides rebuilding the fallen houses in the city of Jerusalem and rebuilding the fallen Mount of Olives across from it because when Jesus gathers all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, the city is taken and the houses are rifled according to Zechariah 14:1-2 so the houses with walls are there at that point in time at Jesus 2nd coming.  And we know that when Jesus returns his feet are going to stand on the Mount of Olives according to Zechariah 14:3-4 and it is going to cleave in the middle toward the east and the west, and there is going to be a very great valley: and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south so the Mount of Olives would have to rebuilt after it falls down in Ezekiel 38:20 if Ezekiel 38:20 took place before the second coming of Christ to the Mount of Olives.  After saying all that, I don't think Ezekiel 38-39 takes place before the Antichrist events in the book of Daniel.

God bless you,
Donna
