SAM ORLANDO - Thank you for your gracious reply. I will ponder what you have written about the "2300 morning/evening" prophecy in Daniel 8. None of the commentaries I have access to have satisfactory explanations as to the meaning of this prophecy.
Let me see if I understand you correctly: In your view, 2300 days after the tribulation begins with the "confirmation" of the peace treaty, the "dailies" begin. This is for the "cleansing" of the Levite priests in preparation for their ministry in the Millennial Temple which is described in Ezekiel 40-48 (larger, and in a different location than previous temples.) I assume you mean that these "dailies" take place in a tabernacle, rather than a temple, and in a location somewhere outside of Jerusalem. Is that correct?
I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind. I desire to seek fuller understanding of your viewpoint. When the Scripture states that the Abomination of Desolation takes place, where would that be? And when it says in II Thess. 2:4 "so that he [the Antichrist] as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God...", where does this refer to, in your opinion? Any additional thoughts regarding the "2300 morning/evening" prophecy would be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you for your graciousness.WENDY - God bless you, dear. Maybe we will indeed see our Great Physician soon! I know my body is groaning increasingly over the past several years, as well. Take care, and let us continue watching.
CORRECTION: SAM ORLANDO - I had meant to write "220 days after the start of the tribulation..." Oh my!
