Kay, just some notes ~ I certainly was not “ignoring” your heart-rendering letter! But I’ve
just been in a WHIRLWIND (of activity) this week & it’s getting harder & harder to find
spare moments of time - even for the important things.
Anyway, first off, thank you for pouring out your heart. Your “river of tears” = Psalm 56:8
You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book. [NLT]
Maybe it feels like you’ve filled up several 50-gallon tank drums with tears! Smile
Just wanted to say that I understand about your situation; and yet I don’t. Well, let’s put
it this way: I understand in that I have loved & prayed & had my heart nearly ripped out
for many, many, MANY years for my very (extremely) wayward brother to be “reigned in”
to God’s Kingdom.
And yet, I don’t understand the depth of a mother’s love for her own children.
Our 3 went straight from the womb to heaven (miscarriages).
But I do know this!! As you yourself mentioned, you can be comforted in knowing that for
as much love that you carry for each & every one of your children – yet, GOD LOVES THEM MORE!!!!!! Hard to fathom, but He loves them more than you, the mother who brought them
into this world & cared for & nurtured them ~ EVER COULD. And in fact, He loves them
so much that He will not “force” anyone to come after Him ~ but He loves all enough to allow
them TO CHOOSE. This is the only kind of love worth having!! What kind of “God” would
He be if He FORCED us to live for Him, to follow Him?? We’d be mere puppets on strings!
There, in fact, would be no love at all!
And people – all people – have choices to make, either for or against the Lord. You, nor I, nor
anyone else can make Scripture say what we want it to say even when our motive is inspired out
of love. Scripture remains intact, of course. But you can be assured that many, MANY of the
Doves from the world over will be praying about your children returning to the Father!!
And I second that – what you said ~ may it be weather conditions or whatever upheaval, good
or bad thing needed to turn them back to Him.
And in the meantime, I’m also praying for your heart to heal, and for your kids to be able to
see their mother – HAPPY in the Lord!! [regardless of knowing what is coming down the pike
for a God-rejecting world], yet the joy of the Lord is our strength!! Could it be said if we
have no strength, we have none of His joy at the moment?
Also consider: we pray for you to be just STUBBORN enough [“smile”!] to keep going ~ no
matter what!! [Sounds like you’ve already learned to do just that!!]
Matthew 19:29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother
or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit
eternal life.
Love, love, love them for the unique people they are. But also keep your own mantra:
“though none go with me, I still will follow”!
For all people who have children running away from the Lord, let’s just keep on keeping on
~ praying for them!! If they do not return to the Lord this side of the rapture, then know,
please know, that as Dove poster Mary Bell pointed out, Scripture says that MULTITUDES
~ too many to number ~ will wash their garments in the great tribulation. I expect that will
be a good number of people we personally know.
While that in itself may not be a comforting thought – yet, isn’t it far better to turn to the
Lord THEN, then never at all??….. For the suffering during the trib, as horrendous as it
will be, is only momentary!!
It’s no great comfort to me to know that every single member of my extended family [most
definitely including in-law extended family] will be left here during the tribulation. But I
most definitely pray for them, and hold on to high hopes that they WILL turn to the Lord, the
Lord alone …. Then!! And in fact, I even thank the Lord that He allows that “extra opportunity” during that time. Because indeed, some people are so very mule-headed, that it will TAKE the
rapture and the trib ~ to WAKE ‘em up!!!
Praying for you today, Kay!! {yesterday, too}
Rom 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you
may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work withinus, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that
we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]-- …. To Him be all glory….. (AMP)
….. “and we THANK YOU, FATHER, that You will use whatever means to reign in the prodigal children of precious Kay!! You alone, Lord, know her tender heart, and how she wants more than ANYTHING Lord, for them to return to You! … for them to be set free from the bondage of sin. She would give her own life if necessary, but we know that’s not necessary, because You gave YOUR life.
By faith, we cast this mountain [of stubbornness & refusal on their part] into the sea ~ and expect to see them return to You, one by one! And we THANK YOU for Your answers ahead
of time! In Jesus’ name! Amen!”

Titus 2
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
The rapture is a blessed hope to the Christian. Watching for and expecting the rapture is a blessed hope that encourages a person to stay close to the Lord. A person watching daily for the rapture will go on with life but be constantly looking for the return of the Lord each day. This blessed hope also has a purifying effect. A person will not get caught up in worldliness or wrong things if he thinks His Lord could come back at any moment. ~ Alan YuskoThe **RAPTURE** will bring on simultaneous worldwide DISAPPEARANCES
.... it is soooo close now!!
