1 Cor 10:31 (10 Apr 2008)
"**those there 1260 days**"

I was just now reading (how'd I miss it?) how one poster (Sam Orlando~ ?)  came up with the calculation that there's EXACTLY 1260 days BETWEEN First Fruits & Yom Kippur.    AWESOME!! ~ that'd be just enough time for that there peace treaty to be confirmed (strengthened) by "za' man with a plan" (the AntiChrist) and for the first HALF of the time of Jacob's trouble to get underway  (rapture immediately precedes this)

Okay, also consider:   there are also EXACTLY 1260 days from PASSOVER to Rosh Hashanah (2011)!!

Hmm.... same rule of thumb applies ~ enough time for the rapture, then the peace covenant to be confirmed and for the first half of the trib. to get underway.

Now, I full well know that Jesus IS our Passover -- and the spring feasts HAVE been fulfilled.  And while, technically, I think the Jewish feasts have nothing to do with "the Church" ~ ..... yet, consider:

that mid trib COULD land near Rosh Hashanah.  [Reasons in particular:  Jeremiah 8:20  Amos 8:1-3  Amos 8:5-7  The book of Amos leads me to believe what would NORMALLY be a cheerful time of celebration for them, [Rosh Hashanah??... which, in 2011, will be one week after summer is over ~ thus "the basket of SUMMER FRUIT" being on the table in Amos 8:1]  ~ but this normally festive, cheerful time instead turns into wailing in the streets as they’re having to flee for their very lives with the AntiChrist’s henchmen on their backs!

I guess it boils down to ~ will mid-trib land on Rosh Hashanah ~ a what's considered generally a MERRY time for the Jews?   Or, will it land on Yom Kippur?  [Yom Kippur is the MOST SOLEMN time in the Jewish life, I believe.]   Hey, I'm not placing a bet here -- as I personally can see the mid-trib time happening during EITHER of these.  In fact, they're only a week apart & I'd guess that for most watchers anxious to go Home ~ ANY DAY this month will be perfectly OKAY!!   :)

But again, notice Amos 8 talks about the "And the songs of the temple
Shall be wailing in that day,”   See?   NORMALLY cheerful time ~ NOW in heartache & WAILING in the streets!!   They've trusted a man (AntiChrist) who is now betraying them.

Further:  same chapter of Amos, v5: they want to know:  When will the New Moon be past,   [everyone knows there is a NEW MOON at Rosh Hashanah ~ in fact, this is what kicks off Rosh Hashanah]  Okay, from what little Jewish studies I know about -- there is (isn't there?) also a new moon at Yom Kippur.  But ~ Yom Kippur is a time of quiet reflection, solemness & such ~ it is a day set aside for fasting, depriving oneself of pleasures, and repenting from the sins of the previous year.   Whereas, again, Rosh Hashanah is happy, happy, let's CELEBRATE kind of time!!  {New Year, of course!}  And since God will:  (Amos 8:10)   turn your feasts into mourning,
And all your songs into lamentation   ...Then the "day" spoken of here MAY be Rosh Hashanah!!!

Sooo.... basically, the rapture "may" happen even before First Fruits.  Many of us think that THIS VERY MONTH holds HIGH HOPE of it being THEE rapture month ~ we've longed so for so long now!
FTR, for those who are Jewish feast date-challenged (smile), Passover starts April 19-20 (always begins sunset night before) and First Fruits is one week later.

In which case:  Romans 13:11
... knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
Anyway, just something to think about.  Keep in mind though, that Jesus could well come BEFORE the next Jewish feast. He could even come before tomorrow, for that matter!  He IS coming ~ just any day ~ just any moment!!

Whether either scenario stands the test -- the thing is:  it IS upon us!!  It is TIME to go out & meet the Lord!!  Let's make these very, very last hours of our time on earth count FOR HIM!! ~ for all eternity!!

Let us keep on praying for our lost loved ones who'll be left here in confusion & chaos -- that they then will turn TO THE LORD ALONE for salvation -- and not to any "church or religion" that's only been left behind as well.

I've got wedding day jitters!   :)   (in a good way ~ means I'm just excited & bouncing off the walls!! ~ cuz we're gonna' be there ~quite possibly~ before the month is even up!!)   Okay, time to write letters (once again) to all my loved ones who'll be left here!!   The paradox is ~ I feel for them (for all who will be left here) but I am also SOO excited ~ we're going to our forever wedding!!  The BrideGroom IS coming!!

See you soon?!

Reva

Titus 2
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
The rapture is a blessed hope to the Christian. Watching for and expecting the rapture is a blessed hope that encourages a person to stay close to the Lord. A person watching daily for the rapture will go on with life but be constantly looking for the return of the Lord each day. This blessed hope also has a purifying effect. A person will not get caught up in worldliness or wrong things if he thinks His Lord could come back at any moment. ~ Alan Yusko

The **RAPTURE** will bring on simultaneous worldwide DISAPPEARANCES
.... it is soooo close now!!
