I have updated a program using different methods of retrieving scripture verses.
Get all Scriptures by Reference: Allows you to enter the chapter and verse, and all the scriptures are returned with that chapter and verse: Entering 3:16 returns Gen 3:16, ..., John 3:16, …, Rev 3:16 (49 verses are returned).
Get Chapter Number (1-1189): Entering chapter # 888 will return Amos 9:1-15.
Get Verse Number (0-31101): Allows you to enter a beginning verse number, (ex: 1 = Gen 1:1)
Skip Distance and Maximum Verses returned: Entering a skip distance (positive or negative) will list the verse # after the beginning number and returns the number of verses specified in the Maximum Verses returned.
I do not know what patterns may be found, but for those who are interested in looking, here is a tool to do so. If you have any suggestions of improvements, let me know.
