Doves,We are all grieved from the senseless acts of violence. We sigh… How LONG O Lord until you come and help us.
At least 32 dead in Virginia with many more wounded. Even though the gunman is dead, there still seems no justice.
Should we not cry out for justice from the Lord? Should we not be grieved?
Today marks the day that Israel marched seven times around the walls of Jericho. Today is the day the walls came down by the shouts of a silent army. We need to lift up our voice, and begin shouting praise to the God of Heaven. Magnify His name, so he come and inhabit our praise, and sing songs of deliverance over His beloved.
We cannot stop the terror, but surely God shall be Emmanuel among us. Even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we shall fear no evil because He is Emmanuel.
I was just reading this morning in Ezekiel 9:11, which then prompted me to read the whole chapter.
I cannot help but think that God is about to bring out the daisy’s into blossom.
A daisy is a simple flower that brings a smile in the heart of God. It is cheery, and childlike. It does not have a lot to give, but it gives its all to bring happiness. If your child is like a daisy, he or she may wrap up little gifts of pennies wrapped in scrap paper with tons of tape, with a simple message, “I love you”. There was a time I would be annoyed by the numerous pennies I received wrapped in paper, but now that I understand the heart, I treasure those simple gifts. I know that God must treasure our wor(th)ship. What could we give to him of value? It is the heart.
Earlier I mentioned Jehoshaphat in 1 Kings 4:17 in the interpreting dreams post.
2Ch 20:20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
2Ch 20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
2Ch 20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
I see God bringing justice by our simple, but heart pure worship. Let us bring a smile on God’s face.
