"The Wonderful Wizard of Oz"

Many things and numbers here potentially pertinent to the Rapture.  What better modern day parable than the Wizard of Oz.  It was Dorothy who was whisked away by a Tornado (whirlwind – similar to Elijah) from Kansas.  The movie/book has numerous allusions to the Bible.  Not only the rapture and tornado, but the Wicked witch being destroyed by water (Holy Spirit), Emerald as a key jewel in a “heavenly” city, etc.  Dorothy maybe should have been saying “this world is not my home” vs. “there is no place like home”.

May 24 is the 2nd day of Shavuot (Pentecost), May 17th is Ascension Day, 55 is the bride number, 666 is the number in Revelation, etc.  I’ll let you look for yourself:

Blessings,

Tony

“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” the original children’s book

On May 17, 1900 the first copy of the book came off the press; Baum assembled it by hand and presented it to his sister, Mary Louise Baum Brewster.

Emerald is regarded as the traditional birthstone for May, as well as the traditional gemstone for the astrological signs of Taurus and Cancer.

According to Rebbenu Bachya, the Hebrew word "Nofech" in Exodus 28:18 means "Emerald", and was the stone on the Ephod representing the tribe of Judah. According to other commentaries, "Nofech" means "garnet", and another stone, the "Bareqet", representing the tribe of Levi, is thought to be emerald.

In some cultures, the emerald is the traditional gift for the 55th wedding anniversary.
