May 5th 2000
Alignment of planets: On May 5, 2000 there was an unusual
alignment of the sun, moon, and the planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter
and Saturn within the same area of the sky, roughly in a line, although
actually spread over 25 degrees.
May 5th 2000 the movie Gladiator came out, which I believe
has significant spiritual insights (Maximus the General, who wants to be
a farmer with his family becomes a slave, defies an emperor and does finally
realize his dream to be in heaven forever with his family – see www.tony4yhwh.com for more info on this).
Let me quickly share my heart on this:
Maximus in the movie was so dedicated to Marcus Aurelius a father figure
for him. In Marcus’ words “you were the son I should have
had”. Of course Commodus was a great picture of Satan.
Maximus was also dedicated to Rome.
In our case the Kingdom of
God that Jesus spoke of. Maximus was a General
who became a slave, who defied the emperor. So many times in the Bible
the Apostles and the Patriarchs are referred to as Bond Servants.
Exodus 21: 1-6
1Now these
are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.
2If thou
buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. (2007?)
3If he came
in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his
wife shall go out with him.
4If his
master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the
wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.
5And
if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children;
I will not go out free: (with all my Heart – Yes! Like a bride
saying “I do”)
6Then his
master shall bring him unto the judges;
he shall also bring him to the door,
or unto the door post;
and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever.
Amen!!! I love my Master, my wife and
my children and I will not go out free!!! I gladly give my life to my Master!!!
I see many parallels with Maximus in this movie.
*I believe the Rapture and being worthy has
nothing to do with an intellectual commodity. So if you and I “seek
and find” with all our hearts and say “Yes” to this question,
when YHWH sees fit, we shall go. He searches the heart and knows our
true motivations.
May 5th 2005
Ascension Day
This was a day many of us looked to for the Rapture. It clearly
did not happen. Like the original Apostles our faith was hit with
heartache and disappointment.
When Jesus originally died and then rose to heaven on the original Ascension
Day maybe they felt the same heartache. 2 years/2,000 years later…
May 5th 2007 (7 years later,
the number of creation days and also 7 is the number for spiritual completion)
2 years later (in a model of 2,000 years later???) here we are again.
This time we have the 2nd Passover, Firstfruits and also 33rd
day of counting the Omer to land on the Sabbath of May 5th.
All we can say is we’ll be watching!!!
