Steve Berryman brought up a different English gematria technique I hadn't seen before of a-z equals 1-26 and counting the vowels separately. I had seen the 1-26 before but not counting the vowels separately.I have normally been used to the a-z being 1-10, 20, 30, 40,,,100 200 300... in the fashion of the Greek and Hebrew type which I'll call the "traditional" way.The "traditonal" way has "firstfruits' equalling 1110. I found this significant in the same way that when God emphasizes something important He repeats it such as, "Holy", "Holy, "Holy". Here we have the first number, the number 1, as in "first", repeated 3 times as well. The "traditional way has the word "second" equalling 222. I found this equalling signficant in the same exact pattern as "firstfruits".Remember the Gentiles were God's "second" choice, not part of the natural vine but grafted in. For it is written:Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. Romans 11:22Again, in 11:22 we have ones followed by twos. It is also how it is written that the firstborn belongs to God:Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine. Exodus 13:2Yet God chose another to take their place:And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine; Numbers 3:12The 1-26 has "second" equalling 60 and "firstfruits" equalling 165. I guess that with the number 5 being tied in to the rapture we have 5 times 12 equals 60 and 5 times 33 equals 165. Five stands for Grace, 12 stands for Divine Power, and 33 stands for Promise. It was interesting about the interpretation of "rapture" being 99. NIne stands for the fruit of the spirit. Note that "goeth" equals 55. Also note the "rapture" verse translated in the KJ:Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; II Thess 2:3And "falling away" equals 111. Here we have 111 again. And removing all the vowels so we are left with "fllngwy" as in the manner of Steve's example, and Hebrew for that matter that has no vowels, we are left with the number 99, the same as "rapture". So even though the KJV doesn't translate it as "rapture" we are left with the number of "rapture" still the same.-Shalom
