I apologize that haven't responded to any of the posts or questions this week as have had computer trouble. Opened up my drafts folder and had written the title of this post as shown above, which speaks for itself. It was actually for a post I never sent, in reply to Daniel Matson's post of March 27th as shown below, where he also brings up May 5th. I was focusing on the upcoming April 5th date and didn't want to loose focus by looking past April 5th at the time. But remember that many of us were watching April 5th, the first firstfruits, this year, started by John's excellent post. Since the 1st month in the Hebrew calendar, (or 7th or 8th of the Civil Calendar, depending on wherther there are 12 or 13 months in the year), has 30 days, that would also lead us to being able to calculate May 5th as the second firstfruits.I'm also intrigued by now knowing that May 5th is not only the independance day of Mexico, but also of Denmark, thanks to Jan Mikael. I went ahead and found Wikipedia had a page devoted to May 5th:And found it is liberation day for Ethiopia along with the day that Mohandas Gandh was liberated from prison. In 1955 West Germany gained full sovereignty on that day. And last year, the government of Sudan signed an accord with the Sudan Liberation Army.Notice any common thread?Liberty, freedom, freed from bondage. The rapture holds the promise of freedom from bondage to this earth and to our fleshly nature. To be liberated from the gravity of this earth. To escape to be with the Lord. For the record, Israel's Independance Day is also on the 5th of their 2nd month, having happened in our May. For the record, the next time that May 5th and Iyar 5th coincide is in 2014. The last time was in 1995, (5/5/1995 = Iyar 5, 5755 - sure a lot of fives.)-Shalom!__
Ted,
Iyar 17 begins 6pm sundown 5-4-2007; my four digits stay intact!First Firstfruits: 4-5-2007 / 4-6-2007 (Good Friday)
Second Firstfruits: 5-4-2007 / 5-5-2007
Extremely interesting.

"600 and 60 and 360"
Here are some things to consider:
- If the Rapture is on Pentecost 2007, it may be that it is the seven year marker since it is exactly 2,520 days until Firstfruits/Mid-Tribulation in 2014 (If that is the correct scenario).
- Pentecost 2007 is 600 days from Rosh Hashanah 2005, which was amazingly 14,000 days from June 7, 1967. Six Hundred was Noah's age when the Flood began. In 2006, the anniversary day of the Flood came at 14,400 days (40 x 360 or 120 x 120) after June 7, 1967 and matched the year of Noah's death from Creation.
- July 3, 2007 is sixty 360-day years from May 14, 1948. This is the 17th of Tammuz and the day Moses broke the tablets at the golden calf incident. In solar years it is 59 years and 50 days from May 14, 1948. From 1948 to 1967 to 2007 puts the timeframe at parallel with Crossing the Jordan for the Exodus generation.
- The day count from and including May 14, 1948 to July 3, 2007 is 21,600 days. The day count from and including June 7, 1967 to May 27, 2007 is 14,600 days. The difference between the two is 7,000 days. Therefore, there are periods of 7,000 and 14,000 days and a period of 600 days.
- The remaining key dates for this are May 27, 2007 and July 3, 2007--a difference of 37 days. This is a golden proportion of 60 days.
- Sixty days would start on May 5, 2007 and May 5th is 7 years from the alignment of the Sun, Moon, and five visible planets (seven) on May 5, 2000.
- May 5th this year begins Lag B'Omer in the Pharisaical count. (However, the count from April 8th puts Lag B'Omer at the evening of May 9th.)
- May 5th is 120 inclusive days from the first naked-eye sighting of Comet McNaught (1/6/07).
- The Comet sighting was 60 inclusive days from November 8, 2006.
- November 8, 2006 was 120 inclusive days from the beginning of the war in Israel.
- May 5th to July 3, 2007 is 60 inclusive days.
- All four periods bring it to 360 days. (Minus the overlap from inclusive counts it is 357 days.) This sequence started at the day before the 17th of Tammuz 2006 and ends on the 17th of Tammuz 2007.
- May 5th is the 17th of the Second month. The flip of Heshvan 17.
- The final period of sixty days puts Pentecost at the golden proportion. In the other three periods the golden proportion fell at Rosh Hashanah 2006, December 14, 2006, and Nisan 1. This happens to be both New Years and the solar calendar time that coincides with Hanukkah 2017 eleven years later.
- All of this seems to be the limit of significant day counts until 2010. (Side note: Between November 8, 2006 and November 8, 2010 is 1460 days--a tenth of 14,600)
- If these remaining days pass, then it would seem that the buildup of significance is lost. A Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets seemed more likely and is a sticking point. A Rapture on Pentecost fits many of the themes. The reading and significance of Ruth, the lump of leavened bread, the second harvest of the three, the mini count of Jubilee, etc.
- If the Rapture is on Pentecost, it may be that the Magog War surfaces just prior to the Rapture. The Rapture would lead to the all out invasion.
- The day of mourning (17th of Tammuz--July 3) could be the day the war is ended by God and the zenith of the war--the day of the great earthquake. This is speculation of course.
- This would still allow for the seven years to come before the Abomination of Desolation.
- Seven months to bury the dead if also counted from Pentecost (10 Sivan this year) would come to the 10th of Tevet--a significant day in Israel's history.
- In 1982 as was stated (http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/feb2007/dwz212.htm) previously, the food supplies were only for one month for the planned invasion into Israel. Any warning prior to the Rapture may be very minimal.
- Keep Watching.
Daniel MatsonI will post some new diagrams tomorrow on a Pentecost page.
