"To Deb: Thanks for
noting the error. It should be sceptre"
In the letter sent by me on Monday, April 9th,
subject: The 4 Biblical Signs of the Rapture, Deb noted a typo error.
In that it has some potential to lead someone down a wrong and unintended
path, I would request that John Tng change it. If he would rather
not, then Deb or John, if you could tell me how to go about making a change,
I will accomplish that. Thanks again to both of you.
In the passage, I was discussing Jacob's blessing on
Judah and pulling my reference from Gen 49:10. "The sceptre shall
not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh
come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be."
A sceptre or scepter is a short staff object associated
with royalty or kingship. A sepulchre or sepulcher is a tomb.
I know the difference. I reckon between getting old and working in
the wee hours of the morning, my mind played a little trick on me.
