Relative to throwing things away, you said, "...Perhaps He is getting
me ready for a journey...and I will be able to leave my house neat, tidy,
and sparsely furnished."

For those with legal knowledge, have you ever thought about the
properties, churches, and ministry buildings we leave on Earth for seven
years? It takes seven years to declare someone legally dead so someone
can claim their property. We'll be back before the antichrist crowd can
take anything legally. (Which is not to say people who know we are
gone will not move in anyway).

Maybe when we come back to rule and reign with Christ for a 1,000
years, our houses will be home base between us and Jerusalem. Of
course we will be able to transport ourselves to our heavenly mansion
in the New Jerusalem which will be hovering over the Earth at that time.

What a time of dichotomies that will be! Flesh and blood people and us
with our glorified bodies which will never die... Almost to good to believe
but I do.
