I have had similar bad experiences with movers. Tell Deborah that
Mayflower was one of them. This does not mean that all Mayflower
subsidiaries are bad, just the one we unfortunately used. I have had
several bad moves because we were in the Los Alamos fire of 2000, and
FEMA promised falsely to take care of us because the gov't started the
fire in a controlled burn. We never fully got settled again after
that, and have moved several times. Out of four moves, only the last
one was unmarred by criminality. We were threatened by the movers just
as Deborah was when we wanted to come see if our stuff really existed
at a certain address in San Jose, CA. Not all of these bad movers were
Mayflower affiliated but one of them was.Mariel
