"Where have those 240 years gone, and when happen it ???"
Yesterday, April 16th, was the birthday for our wonderful Queen of Danmark,
Margrethe the 2th. - she became 67 years - Her birthday is in the midle of
the 5767 and 5768, - because the Jewish year is counted from Ros HasHanah.I’m a bit late with this. Happy Birthday, Queen Margrethe!! Yes, this got coverage in the Australian newspapers and pictures of the Royal Family on the balcony of the palace and Prince Christian hitting his mother in the eye, when he was trying to wave. I know that there will be a new prince or princess in the family soon.
Australians are very fond of the Danish Royal Family, and Queen Margrethe is so much more “normal” and friendly than Queen Elizabeth of England and not all those scandals in the family! I like Queen Elizabeth (she is our queen in Australia – but she is much more formal) and the trouble that her children and their spouses make.
Some Australians say we should join Denmark so we can have their Queen and Royal Family.
I watched the wedding of Crown Prince Frederick and Crown Princess Mary, though I didn’t understand much because it was all in Danish. It was shown directly on Australian TV.
I noticed that Denmark has only two names for its Kings – Christian and Frederick, in turn. So Queen Margrethe’s father must have been King Christian because her eldest son is Frederick and his eldest son is Christian.
