"INFO: - Amos Speaks Again, - by Jack Kelley !"According to UN documents the Kingdom of Jordan is the official Palestinian homeland, having been created by the same stroke of the pen that created modern Israel. (Funny that no one wants to admit that.) Its population is 70% Palestinian and is governed by the Hashemite family, descendants of Ishmael and Mohammed, not Ammon.
Hi Jan
Actually Jordan, first called Trans-Jordan was actually created by the British in the early 1920s as a reward for Hashemite tribes who fought with Lawrence of Arabia during WWI. Yes, it was carved out of the British Palestine Protectorate and is part of ancient Israel.
I personally think it should be the Palestinian state because the majority of people are Palestinians. From 1949 to the Six Day War in 1967 the “West Bank” was part of Jordan. I notice the Palestinians living there didn’t complain about being “occupied” then nor those living in Gaza during the same time period when Gaza was part of Egypt. Nor when they occupied by the British or for the four hundred years before that by the Ottoman Empire.
