"The Struggle Toward Wholeness"

Dear friends:

Dr. Tommy and Wilma Coy have been good friends of mine many years.  Tommy was responsible for all the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) 700 Club counseling centers for several years.  They have a counseling ministry together, and I know they counsel "by the Spirit" with God's guidance and not by humanistic methods.

Wilma has been a Christian counselor for some 25 years and has just published an excellent book, "The Struggle Toward Wholeness."  The book distills years of godly wisdom and experience.

Are you struggling in any way?  This book can help you.  Some of the topics:

1.  How to be born again.
2.  How to release the Holy Spirit.
3.  How to be delivered from evil spirits.
4.  How to be set free emotionally.
5.  How to renew your mind.
6.  How to find out who you are in Christ.
7.  How to find out where you fit in the body of Christ.

Wilma reveals interesting insights on sanctification, and helps the reader overcome negative reinforcements in life that hinder wholeness.  These include:

1.  Deprivation of love.
2.  A distorted view of God.
3.  Guilt.
4.  A distorted view of self.
5.  Inherent sin.
6.  A distorted view of others.

I know there are people out there reading this message right now who need the answers provided by this book.  These answers in some cases come after many years of waiting and struggle.  Now God is providing them to set people free and to bless them.

The book's title, using the word "struggle," fascinates me, and at first turned me off.  However, my thoughts turned to the tiny, bound creature struggling to get out of the cacoon, and eventually a beautiful and carefree butterfly emerges, enjoying its life and beautifying the world around it.  Humans are like that.  We must struggle to get out of the cacoon the world places us in, and when we finally do get free of its bondage, we can truly enjoy life, beautify our surroundings with the joyful fragrance of Christ, and be the victorious person God wants us to be.

God bless you,
