"The Jesus Visions"
Dear friends:
Friend Christine Darg is a missionary to the world but primarily to the Middle
East where she and husband Peter minister to both Jews and Arabs, sometimes
in countries and situations that are extremely dangerous. No doubt, they
are God's storm troopers. I have said before that if it were possible,
Christine would boldly erect a revival tent in hell and fearlessly preach there.
She has seen many miracles experienced among Muslims and has documented many.
In 2005 I told you about her book "The Jesus Visions -- Signs and Wonders
in the Muslim world."
Just recently, she updated the book, now titled, "The Jesus Visions
-- Miracles Among Muslims."
These books show how God is revealing Himself supernaturally to many Muslim
people, no doubt due to His love and compassion for those so bound by the spirit
of Islam. What she shares is astonishing. Because of God's grace,
many Muslims are turning to Christ.
Christine says this is a fulfillment of Joel chapter 2, and that since her first
book the incidence of such spiritual dreams and visions has "increased
exponentially," so much so she and Peter can hardly keep up with the reports.
The book is available on her Web site at at www.exploits.tv
. Highly recommended.
As I said in 2005, and I still believe today: "I believe it is the hottest
book in the world today. No joke. Why? Because it is about
the Middle East and because there is page after page of first-hand anecdotal
examples of God's supernatural power being manifested in that forbidden land,
such as Jesus actually appearing to hardened Muslims in dreams and visions,
instantly changing their hearts toward the gospel. It is stunning, and
a real page-turner. What could be hotter than a book about what God is
doing?!
"These first-hand stories of Jesus supernaturally revealing Himself to
Muslims will cause your faith to soar and your praise of Him to intensify.
"There is a lot of evil going on in the world, and I report on much of
it. But Jesus is alive and He is doing a lot in the world also.
Let us not forget and get bogged down cursing the darkness when the Light of
the World is still very busy -- still blessing, still saving, still healing,
and still revealing Himself just as in the pages of the New Testament.
He has not changed. Let us declare HIS works (Psalm 118:17) and
not just the devil's. And as He leads, let us submit to being His instrument
in doing His works."
