"As it was in the days of
Noah..."
Dear friends:
In describing what is apparently the rapture, Jesus said the conditions in the
world would be, "As it was in the days of Noah" (Matthew 24:37,
NIV).
What was it like in the days of Noah? It wasn't just the flood coming
on the people as a total surprise, as will the rapture, unlike the second coming.
In telling Noah to prepare for the flood, God said, "The earth is filled
with violence" (Genesis 6:13)
In relating violence to our day, we naturally think of the brutal and senseless
killings of innocent people all over the world by radical Muslims. The
worldwide threat of these people is unprecedented, and it is believed they may
soon have nuclear weapons. They are bloodthirsty, they know no mercy,
and they hate and kill even each other. Their violence and their targets
know no bounds.
But there is more violence going on than just that perpetrated by radical Muslims.
WorldNetDaily reports on the increased violent gang activity in the U.S.
and elsewhere. Below is an excerpt. The full article is at

Since Cain and Able, there has always been violence, but today is different.
Probably like no other time since before the flood, The earth is filled with
violence.

Ultra-violent MS-13 gangs now present in 3,500 U.S. cities
April 25, 2007
By Jerome R. Corsi
SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador The ultra-violent street gang MS-13, causing mayhem
in cities and suburbs across the United States, is the focus of an international
conference here co-sponsored by the
FBI and the national police force in this Central American nation that served
as the birthplace of the urban marauders.
In the opening session of the Gang Enforcement Conference (Tercera Conferencia
Antipandillas), El Salvador President Antonio Saca said the problem is one that
should concern many nations.
"Gangs like MS-13 have evolved into coordinated and well-financed criminal
organizations," he said, making them an international problem.
"The immigration that we have experienced in the region, into Mexico and
the United States is a theme we have to understand," Saca explained. "The
same activity of the criminal gangs we experience here in this region is now
being experienced in the United States. The territorial expansion of these criminal
organizations is the principle menace we are facing from gangs like MS-13."
