"Bride or Earth Dwellers?"

Dear Arlene, John, and all Doves,
The recent postings on the theme of "I don't care" seem to me less strange than The Spirit, for our own good, trying to help us detatch from worldly relationships with people and things. We can daily ask ourselves if we want to be the overcoming Bride or an earthly, rooted deeply, tethered tightly earth dweller pagan or neo-pagan wanna be. It is part of the process, if we choose it of being set apart for better. We are not distracted or consumed by worldly things anymore. There is a quality of the other worldly becoming central in all of the particulars. It is hard to discuss. How about the raised eyebrow response or the mini smile? Do you think the family Noah felt alone, isolated, and estranged when the work was done and they were on board the ark waiting for the great changes to come? Thank you, Arlene, and every one who has posted on this bittersweet process of letting go. "He that shall lose his life for me shall find it."

With Love and Shalom,
Jean Stepnoski
