In this nigth-meeting between Jesus and Nikodemus, Jesus talk about the difference between the flesh-born and the Spirit-born. Nikodemus dont understand it at first, but when we read about him later, we know that he understood and believed.
Some think that Nikodemus is frigthen, because this meeting is in the nigth. But people who know about Jewish live and traditions, say that this is not so unusual, because Nikodemus have a work as teacher, and belong to the Sanhedrin, a family and perhaps other things. So a nigth-meeting, where nothing could interrupt, is understandable. If it is so, then it tells us, that he realy was interested in knowing Jesus, and the way Jesus teach.
And Jesus learn him about the differens between flesh-born and the Spirit-born, - read f. example in John 1: 9-14.v. - and remember the words to the Samarian woman at the Sykar weel. Where Jesus tells her, that one day it will not be in Samaria or in Jerusalem you shall go, for finding and worshiping God. But in your own heart, if it belong to God, because God is Spirit, so when we seek Him, we may seek Him in Spirit. - (it is still not in Jerusalem, and never in Rome)
Paul say that if we believe, our bodies is a Temple of the Spirit. - And if we remember Mary Magdalenas experience with the empty tomb, where she saw to angels, one in head-end, and one in foot-end of the place, from where Jesus have been ressurected. - When she would go back, she saw Jesus, - but she most not touch Him, because He havent yet been with His Father.
What a love from Jesus, He knew Mary was terrible sad, so He waited for her, that she could see Him, before He goes to His Father, - She is a perfect picture of the Bride, - because this is the way, our wonderful lord and God loves us, - Praise, honour and love, love, love to our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ, for ever and ever - Marana-tha.
Later when He have came back for 4o days, and left again in the clouds on the mountain, possible the same two angels spoke to the diciples. - and because of that, they were two, they confirmed, - that Jesus - is the Mercy Seat - in person. - And now have gone to Heaven to God, but would come again on the same way. It also confirm Jesu words to the Samaritan woman, that it is not in Jerusalem or in Samaria, they shall seek God. - even if they find the hidden covenant, - why ? because the Mercy Seat - now is in Heaven in Jesus person.
He is our Defender in the Heavenly Court, He is our High Priest in the Temple of God, on the same way like Melkicedek. He is the Lamb of God our sacrifice. He is the Mercy Seat. - Jesus Christ is ALL, thats the plan of the Most High - Glory and Love to you Father in Heaven.
Jesus Christ is the Lion of Judah, He have the key of David, He is the King of Israel, in fact He is Israel, - and soon He would be Crowned in Heaven, as King of the Kingdom of God to, Daniel 7:13-14.+ 27.v. the Kingdom who will follow the 1000 year Kingdom for Israel.
Thats also a risen for why He will have His body, those who belong to Him, as Crown witnesess, to Heaven. - Mathew 8: 11-12.v. and in John. 6: 44-45.v + 10: 27-30.v. + 14: 1-3.v. + 17: 11-12.v. + 22-24.v.
Peace, Love and Joy to all of you, - in the love from Jesus our great Redeemer and Saviour, our Love for ever and ever. jan mikael ><>
John, from The holy Bible, King James version
John, chapter 3: 1-21.v.
1: There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4: Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?5: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6: That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7: Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8: The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9: Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10: Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12: If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?13: And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19: And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.20: For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21: But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
