You know folks, I am sometimes just kind of dense or hard of spiritual hearing.  Does anybody out there know what I mean? By the way I am a regular Doves reader just don't post often.  Anyways, I just read Jim Bramlett's post about Shelby's book on the soon coming rapture.  I remember a book in 1988 that was written and of course no rapture, it all came and went, stirred up so much controversey, yet I truly believe much good came from that book, and dare I say, maybe the Lord intended it?   I was so stirred up back then and over the years remained stirred up to looking for Jesus soon.  Then it began to fade with disappointment and impatience at the waiting.  I used to think, what is wrong with me, I hate not being excited about His coming.  Just lately, that FIRE began to burn in me again of its own accord.  This morning in particular I have had so many confirmations to be looking up for the time is drawing nigh.  I was volunteering at our local SPCA just the other day and this didn't even register with me till today.  But in the exotics pet room there was a white dove in a bird cage, awaiting adoption!  How significant is that?  This is a very unusual animal to be seen, in a cage awaiting adoption.  I believe the Lord was speaking there.  We are awaiting His soon return and it shall be manifested very shortly.  Then this morning, after reading Jim's posting, I am very excited and stand alongside my brothers and sisters who truly have felt the FIRE of His Spirit burning in you with regards to His soon return.  This is more than a mental thing, it is truly an inner knowing... do you know what I mean?
