"Jewish hypocrisy? What compromise are we tolerating."

I watched an excellent show on Sky Angel one by a Messianic Jew, a Jewish Christian. He spoke of the custom on Passover in which they are required to get rid of all the leaven in the house, leaven representing that which puffs up like sin. Since leaven is in so many products these days the Jewish folks have devised a custom in which they can find an easy way around this law, it is called buying back the leaven. For Passover they have the Rabbi come to their house, he places a ribbon around the cubboard which stays there for a certain time. They sell the leaven to a Gentile family for a small price through this ritual by giving the money to the priest. After 14 days, I believe, they can then again use these products.

It sounds funny and obvious. But then he said do not judge the other persons sin unfairly. What leaven are we tolerating in our own lives is the real issue. Many of us have fallen in to this trap of judging others when indeed we have many compromises in out own lives. We do no see our own comrpromised that God wants us to deal with which have caused our love to become cold and our Christianity to appear as  hypocrisy to the unbelievers. Are we realy ready for a rapture?
