Global Warming
Cause and Consequences

the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth
up the breach of His people, and healeth the stroke
of their wound,” Isaiah 30:26.
“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the
sun, and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were
scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath
power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory,”
Revelation 16:8-9.
Introduction
Global warming! Global warming! Global
warming!
The cry of “global
warming” is coming from everywhere. We see it on TV. We hear about
it on talk radio. We read about it in newspapers and magazines. Numerous
books have been written on the subject. Scientists, environmentalists,
politicians, economists, and agriculturalists are all talking about “global
warming,” so much so that the public now makes it a topic of daily
conversation. Why?
A Little Background
For thousands of years mankind paid little
attention to the subject of “global warming.” It was recognized
early in human history that the Sun was the source of our light and heat,
and day after day the Sun arose in the morning and set in the evening.
Year after year passed, and century followed century, with little variation
in the average annual temperature of the earth. It was just taken for granted
that it would always be that way.
But after approximately
5,800 years of human history the 1800s [modern era] arrived. The industrial
revolution spread over the face of the earth. Technology exploded in a
great leap forward [?] for mankind. During the 1900s two great world wars
were fought. Out of those wars came even greater advances in technology;
jet airplanes, rockets, nuclear energy, television, computers, lasers, satellites,
etc. For the first time in human history so-called “men of science”
[1 Timothy 6:20]
had the ability to monitor and keep accurate records of weather systems,
climatic conditions, and temperatures over the whole earth.
From the late 1700s
up to the middle of the 20th century, the annual average temperature
of the whole earth remained fairly constant, usually varying no more than
1 degree up or down over the course of a year. But about 1950 [1948?] a
very slight increase in the annual temperature of the earth was detected.
Over the next forty years the earth’s annual temperature slowly crept
upwards. During that 40 year period scientists and environmentalists began
to speak out about “global warming.” However, the annual increase
was so small that most of humanity just ignored the whole subject.
Then about 1990 the
average annual temperature of the earth began to increase dramatically from
year to year. The “scientific community” began to bombard the
public with dire warnings about the catastrophic consequences of “global
warming,” so much so that “global warming” has become
a topic of everyday conversation. But is all the hype for real? Is there
really anything to be alarmed about?
The “Scientific” View
According to the so-called “scientific
community” the atmosphere
of the earth is being polluted and “warmed” by burning fossil
fuels, depleting the forests, and draining the wetlands, and by emissions
from the exhausts of automobiles and airplanes, the use of compressed gases
in hair spray, spray paint cans, refrigerant, etc., and by smoke from factories
and refineries, all of which supposedly depletes the ozone layer protecting
earth’s atmosphere, and by excessive carbon dioxide from an exploding
world population, and blah, blah, blah. In other words, according to the
“scientific community,” the sole cause of “global
warming” is mankind upon the earth.
A Perversion of Truth
The real truth is that
the so-called “scientific community” is not a “community”
at all. If one pays close attention to the ongoing debate about “global
warming,” it is obvious that many scientists do not believe
that mankind is the source of “global warming.” In fact, there
is a large vocal minority among scientists who claim that man has nothing
whatsoever to do with “global warming.” The so-called “scientific
community” is deeply divided over the question. So…who is right?
Folks, truth is on the
side of the minority. According to actual historical records, two hundred
years ago everyone on earth was burning wood or coal for heating and cooking.
At that time there was far more pollution and heat being injected
into the atmosphere than is being injected into it today. Yet at that time the earth was going through a cycle
of bitter cold winters and cool summers. This makes it obvious that someone
is ignoring and perverting the truth about “global warming.”
Hello! Are you listening?
The Atmosphere is not the Culprit
There is no question
that the atmosphere is slowly warming up, but it is not the source
of the heat that is causing “global warming.” Then what is
the source? Let the facts speak for themselves…..
It is a fact that the
glaciers in the mountainous areas of the earth and the icecaps at or near
the poles are melting at an alarming rate. But guess what? They are
melting from beneath! If the atmosphere was the source of the heat
causing “global warming,” then the glaciers and icecaps should
be melting from the top down. But they aren’t! Several scientific
studies over the last few years, some as recent as last year [2006], reveal
that there is now great quantities of water pouring out from under
the glaciers and icecaps. Probes reveal that in some places water trapped
beneath the icecaps is as much as 200 feet deep, and is steadily increasing
in depth. The glaciers and icecaps are slowly being lifted by the water
trapped beneath them. Probes have also revealed that the water trapped
beneath the glaciers and icecaps is slightly warmer than the water
normally melted by the atmosphere above the icecaps.
Folks, how much plainer
does it have to be made? It is not the heating up of the atmosphere
that is causing “global warming.” Rather, it is the heating
up of the interior of the earth that is causing the glaciers and icecaps
to melt, and is warming up the globe. And there is not a thing that mankind
on earth can do to stop it. Period! Mankind upon
the
earth is not the cause of “global warming.” Are you listening?
A Disaster in the Making
Scientists are alarmed
over this situation. Some claim that in the event of a sudden shift
of the earth’s crust [such has occurred in the past], the water trapped
beneath the icecaps would act as a lubricant enabling the icecaps [Arctic;
Antarctic; Greenland; Iceland] to slide right off the land surfaces into
the oceans. This would cause a disaster of worldwide proportions.
If such were to happen,
it would cause massive tsunamis [tidal waves], and sea levels around the
world would rise over 20 feet higher in a matter of hours. Such huge tsunamis
could sweep across whole continents. The sudden rise in sea levels would
cause many islands and low coastal areas to simply vanish beneath the seas.
Many coastal cities around the world would be destroyed and covered by the
sea. The death toll from such a catastrophe would never be known by mankind,
for it would number in the millions.
Is such a catastrophe
possible? Would the Lord permit such a thing to happen? Let’s see…..
The Chain of Events…..
Yes! “Global
Warming” is real! The globe really is warming up. Fast! How do
I know? How can I be so sure? Because God’s Word clearly predicted
that such would occur at the end of this age. Read our Scripture texts
again [Isaiah 30:26;
Revelation 16:8-9], and believe what you read.

[March-April, 2006] I wrote
about the “Prophetic Equation.”

1.
The approach of Planet X into the inner
solar system is causing massive explosions to occur on the Sun.
2.
The massive explosions on the Sun are causing
coronal mass ejections [CMEs] of electromagnetic
energy particles into space.
3.
The absorption of excessive amounts of
electromagnetic energy particles from space is causing the molten iron core
[a magnet] of the earth to heat up far in excess of “normal.”
4.
The excessive heat filtering outwards and
upwards from the core of the earth is causing the interior of the earth
to warm and the continental plates to expand and move.
5.
The warming, expansion, and movement of
the continental plates is causing earthquakes to occur and volcanoes to
become active all over the earth, both on land surfaces and also beneath
the seas.
6.
The steady increase in earthquakes and
volcanoes is causing the oceans to heat up, the elevation [or collapse]
of the sea beds, the altering of ocean currents, and drastic changes in
weather patterns.
7.
All of these things working together are
causing the glaciers and icecaps to melt and weather systems to change,
producing excessive heat and drought in some parts of the earth, and excessive
moisture and flooding in other parts.
It should then be obvious
to our readers that the real cause of “global warming” is the
heating up of the interior of the earth, which can be traced back to the
massive
explosions
now occurring on the Sun. These explosions on the Sun are also heating
up the Sun, exactly as predicted in Isaiah 30:26 and Revelation 16:8-9. And folks, you haven’t seen anything
yet. The worst is yet to come, and those left on the earth during the Tribulation
will experience the full impact of it. God have mercy!
The “Spiritual” View
I have been writing
about events that are occurring in this physical [material] universe. But
is there a spiritual aspect to “global warming?” Is everything
that is happening just coincidence? Why are all of these things occurring
at this precise time in human history? Why didn’t this chain
of events occur two or three or even five hundred years ago? Or
why not sometime in the future? Why now? Does God’s Word
give us the answers to these questions? Let’s see…..
The Heavens…..
The purpose for which
God created the heavenly bodies is clearly stated in Genesis
1:14-18. In verse 14-15 we read, “And
God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the
day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and
for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the
heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.”
In these two verses the Lord set
forth several purposes for the “lights”
which He placed “in the firmament of the heaven.” In this
study I want to emphasize only one of those purposes. The “lights”
were to be for “signs” which would “give light upon the earth.” It should be
obvious that “lights” in the heavens that could be seen upon the
earth would give “light upon the earth.” Such “light” would be physical [material] light.
But it is just as obvious that the same “lights,” when used as “signs” by the Lord, would be giving spiritual
“light upon
the earth.” Think about it!
The Hebrew word that
is translated as “signs” in Genesis 1:14 is the word, “owth.”
This word literally means, “to appear; a signal; flag; beacon; monument; omen; mark; miracle;
sign or token.” See Gesenius
Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, page 24-25, Strong’s
No. 226. In other words, the first stated purpose for the “lights,”
which God placed in the heavens, beyond dividing the day
from the night, was to communicate His message [sign; signal; warning; omen; etc.] to mankind
on the earth. Whether men want to believe this truth or not is immaterial.
God’s Word says it [and demonstrates
it] and that settles it. See Psalm
148:1-8. Constellations, comets, meteors, asteroids, the
planets in the solar system, even the sun, moon, and stars, are all continually
conveying Divine light to those living upon this
earth. See Romans 1:18-19 and 10:18. This latter passage is a transliteration of Psalm
19:4. The first six verses of Psalm 19 set forth this truth in explicit detail…..
“The
heavens declare [present tense…are declaring] the
glory of God; and the firmament showeth [displays]
His handiwork.
Day unto day uttereth
speech,
and night unto night showeth knowledge.
There
is no speech nor language, where
their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world. In them [the
heavens] hath He set a tabernacle for the sun,
Which is as a bridegroom coming out of His chamber,
and rejoiceth
as a strong man to run a race.
His going forth is from the end
of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing
hid from the heat thereof.”
Could the spiritual
purpose for the “lights in the firmament of the heaven” be set
forth
more clearly? The “lights” in the heavens were placed
there by God to “give
light
[material and spiritual]
upon the earth,” Genesis 1:14-15. Folks, this truth is repeatedly demonstrated throughout God’s
Word. There are so many examples of it, that no one willing to deal honestly
with the Scriptures can deny it. God’s Word says it and then gives
numerous examples to prove it.
Since this is then an established
Scriptural truth, let’s carefully examine what is happening in “the heavens” today. The “heavens”
are still giving “light upon the earth” today to those who
have “seeing eyes” and “hearing ears,” Matthew 13:16.
The Sun
The Sun is a
type of Christ. This truth is clearly stated seven times
in God’s Word, and is shown forth in
type many more times.
In Psalm
84:11 it is specifically stated, “For
the Lord God is a sun and a shield: the Lord will give grace and
glory: no good thing
will He withhold
from them that walk uprightly.”
At the transfiguration of Christ
as recorded in Matthew
17:2 it is stated, “And [the Lord]
was transfigured before them: and His face did shine
as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light.”
Again in Revelation 1:16 the beloved John wrote, “And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth
went a sharp two-edged sword: and His countenance [face] was
as the sun shineth in his strength.”
See also Isaiah 60:19-20, Malachi 4:2, and Revelation 10:1.
Each of these passages
set forth Scriptural proof that the Sun is a type of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
Read Psalm 19:4-5 again and believe it.
The Sun is also a gigantic
solar magnet. According to astronomers the Sun has the largest electromagnetic
field of any heavenly body in the solar system. Because of its super powerful
magnetic field, it is constantly drawing into itself comets, asteroids,
meteorites, rocks, and other space debris that comes close enough to be
trapped in its magnetic field.
In doing so the Sun
is only fulfilling its role as a type of Christ. The Lord said, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw
all men unto Me,”
John 12:32. Christ Himself is the spiritual magnet
to which all men will ultimately be drawn. Many will be drawn
before Him to be judged and condemned for their incorrigible wickedness.
Comparatively speaking, a few will be drawn to Christ to be blessed
and rewarded. See Matthew 7:13-14, Romans 2:6-11, 14:9-12, and Philippians 2:9-11.
Keep these two basic facts in mind
as we continue this study. The Sun is a gigantic super magnet in “the heavens,” and is a type of the Lord Jesus Christ who
sits at the right hand of God in “the heavens.” Glory!
The Dark Planet
In past newsletters
I have written in depth about Planet X. Copies of those newsletters are
still available for those who would like to review the subject.
Planet X is a gigantic
rogue planet approximately five to six times larger than the earth. According
to astronomers Planet X has the second largest electromagnetic field
of any heavenly body in the solar system. It is a very dark planet,
not reflecting light like the other planets in the solar system. Because
of being a dark planet it took astronomers some 400 years to locate it,
even though they knew “something was out there” because it perturbed
the visible planets in the solar system.
Planet X has a highly
elliptical orbit quite unlike that of the other planets. Its orbit is
more
like that of a comet than of a planet, even though astronomers classify
it as a planet because of its gigantic size. Its orbit carries it far out
into the blackness of space on the very outer edge of the solar system,
where it is hidden in the darkness until it returns to the inner solar system
approximately every 3600 years.
The
ancient Sumerians [2000-2300 B.C.] recorded extensive information about
Planet X. They referred to it as “Nibiru.” This word literally means, “planet
of the crossing.” They gave it this name because it is
the one planet in the solar system which definitely passes across the orbit
of the earth each time it returns to the inner solar system. Each time it
crosses earth’s orbit there is danger of a collision between the two
planets. Even though no direct collision might occur, just the passing
of this gigantic planet will cause all kinds of destruction upon the earth
because of a clash between the electromagnetic fields of Planet X and the
earth.
Other names assigned
by the Sumerians and other nations were “Marduk the King of
the Heavens,” “Seth,” “Typhon,”
“Nemesis,” “Lord Shiva,” “The God of Destruction,”
“The Great Black Dragon,” “The Dark Planet,” “The
Great Red Dragon,” “The Great Phoenix,” “Lucifer,”
“The Destroyer,” “The
Red Star,” “The Blue Star,” “The Intruder,”
“The Comet of Doom,” “The Fiery Dragon,” “The
Perturber,” and many other names
too numerous to mention in this study. I mention these names because it
gives insight into “who”is being typified by this “Dark
Planet.”
Prophetic Truth
Since God’s Word
plainly states that the heavenly bodies are for “signs…to
give light upon the earth,” and since the Sun is definitely
set forth in the Scriptures as a type of Christ, then it should be
obvious that Planet X is a type of Satan, the “nemesis”
of God Almighty and the enemy seeking to destroy Israel and all mankind.
As Planet X approaches
the Sun, just as any magnet will do, it is pushing before it all kinds of
space objects and debris; comets, asteroids, meteors, rocks, and dust.
It also is pulling behind it a long multi-million mile trail of space
debris. Some of the space debris that is being pushed before Planet X is
presently crashing into the Sun. As this debris strikes the Sun, the Sun
is reacting with gigantic explosions on its surface. It almost appears as
if Planet X is throwing debris at the Sun seeking to hurt or destroy it,
and the Sun is reacting in anger and rage. Because of these explosions
taking place on the Sun, electromagnetic energy particles are being blown
out in space where some of it is being absorbed by the magnetic core of
the earth. It is this clash between Planet X and the Sun that is causing
“global warming.”
Now let our readers
consider these “signs” taking place in the heavens in the light
of God’s prophetic Word. Doesn’t the Word plainly predict that
at the end of this present age Satan will come forth to challenge the Lord’s
claim to this earth? You know it does! See Revelation 5:1-14, 10:1-7, and 12:1-17.
The Scriptures tell us that the Lord will react to Satan’s
wicked challenge in great anger and wrath [Revelation 6:12-17], just as the Sun is reacting to the approach
of Planet X today. Coincidence? That this great
drama is being foreshadowed in the heavens even now? I think not! God’s
people [true believers] who
have “seeing eyes and hearing ears” can
see this drama being forecast in the heavens right now. But it will become
even more vivid and terrifying during the coming Tribulation. The clash
between the “Titans”
in the heavens is on the way, even as the final battle between the forces
of good led by Christ and the forces of evil led by Satan is also swiftly
approaching.
Praise God! I’ve
read the end of the Book. I’m rooting for Christ Jesus, my precious
Savior and Lord. May God hasten the day! “Even
so, come, Lord Jesus,” Revelation 22:20.
Earth’s Involvement
Because of the clash
between the Sun and Planet X, earth is now experiencing “global warming.”
But surely God’s people [those
truly saved] can see that this is not happening by chance. It
was foreseen, planned, and programmed by the Lord to occur at this precise
time in human history. It is clearly prophesied in His Word, even to the
extent of what it is presently causing and the outcome that it will ultimately
serve. And just what is “global warming” presently causing from
the spiritual perspective? Let’s see…
The Enlarging of Hell
As
the core of the earth heats up, “hell
hath enlarged herself,” Isaiah 5:14-15. This passage is a prophecy of hell being
enlarged to receive the bodies and souls of the incorrigible wicked.
See Matthew 5:29-30, 10:28, 18:8-9, Mark 9:43-48, and
also Proverbs 27:20 and Habakkuk 2:5. Hell is being enlarged to receive the billions
of wicked God hating and Christ rejecting incorrigible sinners now living
on the earth at the end of this age. See Psalm 92:7.
The process of hell’s enlargement
is even described in Deuteronomy 32:22. The flames from the molten
core of the earth are consuming more and more of the interior of the earth.
Therefore…..
Hell is Moving
In Isaiah
14:9 it is specifically stated that “Hell
from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming…”
This is a prophecy that speaks about the coming of
the Antichrist on to the world scene. Therefore we can conclude that the
fires of hell will burn through or break through the surface of the earth
during the coming Tribulation when the Antichrist makes his appearance to
mankind. When the fires of hell break or burn through the surface of the
earth, there will then come into existence a literal…..
Lake of Fire
The “lake
of fire” will burn or break through the surface of
the earth in the ancient land
of Edom. Today this area is located in the southern part of the nation
of Jordan. You can place your
finger on the area on a map where this prophecy of a terrible “lake
of fire and brimstone” will become a raging reality.
See Isaiah 30:33,
34:4-10, Matthew 25:41, Revelation 6:12-15, 9:1-2, 14:9-11, 19:20, and
20:14-15. The “lake of fire” will then serve as an eternal visible
witness to all creation of the consequences of rebelling and transgressing
against our good and loving and holy and just and righteous Almighty God.
Be Warned!
Folks, all the [lying]
hype about “global warming” today is being pushed by
the humanistic ultra-rich globalists who are hell bent to set up a New World Order.
They are using “global warming” as an excuse to take away the
freedoms of the people, and bring the nations into oppression. Expect it
to get worse. Laws will be passed restricting peoples rights to drive and
travel and limiting their purchase of fuel. Many products will simply disappear
from the shelves under the pretense that they cause “global warming.”
Lands will be forcibly taken away from their rightful owners under the guise
of “saving them for future generations.” Sic! This is the
real reason for all the hype about “global warming.” The hype
is all a big lie and those pushing it know it is a lie. They are only using
it as an opportunity to further enslave mankind while making themselves
just a little richer. See Habakkuk 1:14-17.
Yet “global warming”
is real as explained in this Bible study. And it will become much worse
just as set forth in our opening texts.
Folks, any true
believer can see how Almighty God has worked out this entire
“global warming” scenario to serve His own purposes and will.
Listen to the words of the Psalmist,
“Come, behold the works
of the Lord, what desolations He hath made in the earth.
He maketh wars to cease unto
the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and
cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in the fire.
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted
among the heathen [Gentiles], I will be exalted in the earth,” Psalm 46:8-10.
Any lost person could
see these truths also if they would humble themselves and seriously
“search the Scriptures,” John 5:39. It
is God’s Word that has the answers to all of the problems coming
upon mankind. The scientists, the environmentalists, the politicians, the
educators, the world planners, the globalists, and others of their ilk and kind don’t have
any answers for mankind. They can’t even solve their own problems.
How deceived lost people are when they look to such sorry sources to “save
humanity” and to find their own personal salvation.
Lost friend, humanity
is swiftly approaching the very end of God’s great plan of the ages.
There is precious little time left for YOU to seek the Lord. God’s
Word is true and it is going to be fulfilled exactly as stated, whether
you believe it or not or like it or not. A kind and loving God has provided
a way of salvation for you, if you are willing to believe Him, John 5:24. The way of salvation that God has provided is the
Lord Jesus Christ Himself, John 14:6. It was Christ who died in your place on Calvary.
It was He who was punished for your sins, and it is only through His sacrifice
that you can escape swiftly approaching judgment and spending eternity in
the “lake
of fire,” Revelation 20:15. There is a real Heaven
waiting for the truly repentant sinner, and there is a real Hell prepared
for those who refuse to repent and believe on the Lord. The inspired Scriptures
admonish lost men and women, boys and girls, to call upon the Lord in simple
childlike faith, each individually receiving Him as their own personal Savior,
Romans 10:8-13.
The Lord Himself promised, “…him that cometh to Me I will in no wise
cast out,” John 6:37, and “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting
life,” John 6:47. Why not yield your heart, soul,
and life to Christ today in true repentance and faith?
I close this appeal
with the words of Paul and Silas. When they were asked, “Sirs,
what must I do to be saved?” their simple answer was,
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house,” Acts 16:30-31.
