Dear Jan, your dream about getting into something like an open boat or couch without wheels sounds a lot like what Elijah climbed into when he ascended. I think that we may be presented with the opportunity to CHOOSE whether or not we want to "get on board" when a heavenly vehicle arrives for us. There may be some who, like Lot's wife, look back longingly at the world and all the temptations it has to offer, and thus " miss the boat".
    I think many people will be very surprised to discover that unlike the internet pictures of believers bodies drifting up into the sky, that we may be carried up by way of a heavenly vehicle. These mortal bodies are not made for space travel; we do not fly nor can we breathe unaided in space. The Lord God is sovereign and He can accomplish things in whatever manner He chooses to do, but He also has laws that nature is subject to. Our mortal bodies must be changed to immortal before ascending to the heavenly realm, and if He took Elijah up in a heavenly vehicle in the midst of a whirlwind, then He could very well take us in the same manner. I wrote about this not too long ago, thinking Passover would kick things off for us.

    In light of the recent posts about Second Passover, which has never been fulfilled other than the mention of the celebration by King Hezekiah, maybe our time for Ascension will be AFTER a Second Passover. I do not know if there would be a day for Second Passover followed by a second day of unleavened bread, then second firstfruits, second ascension day, and second pentecost. As this has never been celebrated, who knows? All the feasts regarding First Passover were bodily fulfilled by our Lord Jesus Christ at His first advent, so we may be seeing many new things ahead. We will certainly know more as the day approaches.
