In light of today's tragic and senseless killing of 32 students I will not be surprised to see more rigid gun control measures quickly introduced. That will then lead to the government rounding up the guns that we are entitled by our Constitution to possess. We are seeing the next step in the history of a formerly free nation as we spiral downhill into a police state. Our nation eerily echoes the same measures that were in effect in Nazi Germany: the Reichstag fire, Kristallnacht, gun control laws, which were later replaced with the Gestapo taking the guns away from the people. When the law abiding citizens are denied the right to bear arms, the only gun carrying citizens will be the criminals, and defenseless citizens will then be rounded up like sheep before the slaughter.I will not be surprised to find out that the shooter, whose name is being withheld, is a Muslim. More fuel for the fire that is raging to end freedom as we now know it.“This year will go down in history. For the first time a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our police will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future.” - Adolf Hitler, who instituted the first German gun laws just before Kristallnacht. For those of you unfamiliar with Kristallnacht, here is what Wikipedia says:Kristallnacht, also known as Reichskristallnacht, Pogromnacht, Crystal Night and the Night of Broken Glass, was a pogrom against Jews throughout Germany and parts of Austria on November 9–10, 1938.
Jewish homes were ransacked in numerous German cities along with 8,000 Jewish shops, towns and villages, as civilians and stormtroopers destroyed buildings with sledgehammers, leaving the streets covered in smashed windows — the origin of the name "Night of Broken Glass." Jews were beaten to death; 30,000 Jewish men were taken to concentration camps; and 1,668 synagogues ransacked with 267 set on fire.
Is 10:1-2: Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
