   This made me understand WHY so many professing Christians have absolutely NO discernment. I know people in their 80s who have been professing Jesus as Saviour for most of their lifetimes, yet they are totally blind to the difference between evil and good as they exist in the world today. Yes, they may have a basic understanding, but as far as the things which should be discerned, such as the apostate condition that the vast majority of Christian churches are in, they have no clue, and in fact blindly follow along with apostate movements.
    This has puzzled me for some time, and saddens me greatly as some of these people are members of my immediate family, yet they continue to send out their little jokes and "good luck" emails, all the while totally ignoring the meaty articles that I send to them. Please pray that the eyes of these dear ones are opened to the truth, and that they may be weaned of the spiritual milk to go on to be nourished by the meat of the Gospel.
