TURKEY and IRAN – THEIR FUTURE
ROLE IN THE END-TIMES ENTITY CALLED “THE BEAST”
Turkey and Iran are a part of the final Islamist Beast Empire, mentioned
in Revelation 13:1-2 "And the Beast which I saw was like unto
a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his
mouth as the mouth of a lion;"
This last Beast Empire (Revelation 13:1-10) is a composite empire made up
from the Leopard Empire of Alexander the Great (Daniel 7:6), the
Bear empire of Persia (Daniel 7:5) and the Lion Empire of Babylon
(Daniel 7:4).
When you extrapolate these old Empires onto a modern map of the Middle East
these are the Nations that the area covered - Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Jordan, and Northern parts of
Egypt and Libya. These are the “Red Horse”/"Composite
Beast" Islamic Nations that bring a "Sword" against Israel,
(Rev. 6:4) and from which Israel recovers during the 1,000 years Millennium
(Ezekiel 38:8), prior to the Gog and Magog event. The geographical area covered by these three
old Empires is today all Islamic, except for Israel. Rome is not included
in the description of this composite Empire which is centred in the Middle East.
The Roman Empire as such was defeated at the end of the 2nd World
War, with the destruction and dissolution of the Nazi 3rd Reich: (a final
attempt at reincarnating the Holy Roman Empire for 1,000
years). Daniel 7:12 says regarding the 4th Beast Roman Empire
– “I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and
given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they
had their dominion taken away; yet their lives were prolonged for a season
and time.”
The scriptures (Daniel 2:41-43) emphasize the fact that when the
Roman Empire gets to the "toes" stage it will dissolve into various
weak and strong nations which WILL NOT CLEAVE or ADHERE to one another,
i.e. they will NOT have a close association with one another. Believing
this very definite scripture passage, “puts paid” to any suggestion of a
revived Roman Empire; hence the European Union’s member’s inability to agree
on a constitution to bind them politically.
Daniel 2:44 promises that in the days of these non-cleaving Kings/Kingdoms,
“the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed...
but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall
stand for ever...”
We are in that time NOW! – I believe it began with the great Missionary
efforts of the 18th Century, begun by William Carey and the Wesley
brothers and while that effort is still continuing today, we look forward
to the day when the fullness of the Gentiles is completed, and Jesus returns
triumphant at the end of the Battle called Armageddon.
However, the scripture states that the other three old Beast Empires arise
again as the Composite Leopard/Bear/Lion Beast of Revelation 13.
Currently, Iran (Shiite)
is attempting to stir up the Islamic World against Israel and the Western
Nations, and wants to reinstate the Mahdi,
whilst al Qaeda’s (Sunni) aim is to restore the Caliphate. Should
these aims coalesce, and the parties cooperate and unite, then the Western
World is heading for immediate trouble. Demographically that trouble will
arise within 50 years anyway when Islam dominates Europe.
Revelation 13:11-18 indicates that a man will arise who will unite two factions
or power bases. Rev. 13:11 “And I beheld another beast coming up out
of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb...” I believe this
man will exercise all the power of the first composite beast Empire, and
encourage Islamists to worship the Caliph/leader of the Beast Empire.
However, there is one Nation which needs to come onboard with this line
of thinking, and that Nation is Turkey. In my
booklet “The Beast and the False Prophet” I stated that I believed that
Turkey was the “head
with the deadly wound” (Rev. 13:3) suffered when the Ottoman Empire
was dissolved in 1923 with the stroke of a pen, and only Turkey was left
as a solitary entity of the previous Empire. Since the days of Kemal
Ataturk when he founded the modern Republic of Turkey, the State
has been politically secular. It would appear from recent reports that
there is a real and immediate danger of that political situation changing.

The contents of this report, suggest that if elected as President
of Turkey, the current Prime Minister Recep
Tayyip Erdogan will act quickly
to secure an Islamist monopoly over the secular members of the Government.
In reading this report, it sounds remarkably like the scenario the World
suffered at the hands of the Nazis when they took power in Germany in 1933.

Whilst much of the World’s attention has been centred on Iran and its intransigent
attitude towards the West, things have been changing in Turkey....
Secular demonstrations are planned for 14th April, and
Erdogan’s AKP party will disclose its presidential candidate
on 16th April. The Presidential election set down for 16th
May 2007.
