Yes, Douglas, I feel the same way.  I am very grateful for the blessings the Lord has given me, but I am just not very interested in the things of this world anymore.  As the weeks go by, I become even less interested in the world and more interested in going Home.  Sometimes late at night (I am a night person!), I just look out the window, up at the sky, and try to imagine what it will be like when a shaft of light splits the night sky and Jesus stands there in all His splendor, the angel blows the trumpet, the shout "Come Up Here!" is given, and we GO!  :-)
 
That is my fondest wish.
 
As others have posted, I too, heard angels singing (during the Christmas season) and heard the shofar-like sound on another night--I think the Lord is giving us a "heads up" that He is on the way!
 
I am so happy to have the company of all the Doves on the Watchman's Wall!
