Update:
 
The blank sun had a small sunspot that was very brief on day 11 (4-14) that lasted a couple of hours. However, the sun went blank again.
 
Currently we are in year 11 from the fall of 1996 (the blank sun record of 37 days at year 6,000 from Creation).
 
We are also in year 11 from the fall of 2017.
 
The cycle of solar minimums is 11.1 years
