11. . . Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Thinking logically, I don't think these Angels were giving this message to the 1st century church -- just to say -- He is coming back in the clouds. No, I think there was much more-- I think they were telling them that He would return on the same day in "just the same way". The disciples were asking Jesus if He was about to restore the kingdom of Israel at that time. And told them it was not for them to know the times and the seasons which were in the Father's power but just as Jesus said this and He began to ascend two Angels just happen to pop up with the message above telling us the day of His return. It was like the Angels were finishing what Jesus began to tell them. . .
