Dear Jan Mikael,I appreciate your reply -- I had not thought about the two angels on the Mercy Seat!! Wow!! What you have written here at fivedoves (excerpt below) is very thought provoking -- the two sets of 'two angels' could indeed be the same! I was recently trying to recall all the stories in the Bible about angels ...I had not thought about the golden angels on the Mercy Seat. Thank you very much!
