Please, this is not meant to be argumentative.
 
I just want to "stand up" on John MacArthur's behalf (not that he needs little ole me to defend him) and say that John MacArthur's teaching on his website (http://www.gty.org  &  http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/grace_to_you/ ) have been a God sent blessing to me over the past few years.  I have learned more sensible, down-to-earth, scripture-based truths from John MacArthur than I have in my previous 40+ pre-John years.  I don't know what I would have done without John's preaching to get me through some really dryspells of lack of bible-based Word preaching in our local area.
 
To others: PLEASE listen to John's teaching for yourselves before you make a decision about him.
