"To:  Jan Mikael re:  manchild"

To:  Jan Mikael re:  manchild

I have read with interest these comments about the manchild of Rev 12.  So, in thinking about these things, I wonder:
          1.  When giving birth, the head of the baby first presents, to be followed by
"the body".   Paul tells us that our Lord is the head of us, His body, and
this manchild's head is already in heaven.  It would follow that the entire
birth awaits the forthcoming "body" of the child?
          2.  In Rev 12, it says that after this manchild is fully born (caught up to the throne
of God)---raptured,,,that the woman who gave the birth will be pursued and
persecuted by the dragon (A/C).   This relates to Israel, the nation, who
will be provided for, in the wilderness during the time period of the wrath
of God.  This woman, is of the earth, not heaven, but her child was caught
up to heaven.  Israel is to rule the earth, as a nation, on the earth, during
the millenium, whereas Christians are the "mystery" people..that is our
promises are related to heaven, and sharing with Christ wheresoever He goes,
and the "mystery" is that we are a new creation, in Him, the second Adam.
           3.  The A/C cannot  ply his evil trade, until He who hinders, is removed (The Holy
Spirit) with the body of Christ.   Therefore, the manchild must be fully caught
up to the throne of God, before the A/C can pursue the woman for the
persecuting of the remnant of her seed (Jews during the tribulation period.)

Here is where I get confused.  The woman, is the mother of Christ, (literally, by His geneology) and His body is made up of born again (by His Seed) believers.  But the remnant of her seed - are they just the Jews during the tribulation, or does this also count for gentiles and tribulation saints, being the remnant of her seed?  That the Jews flee to the wilderness is certain,,,,but do tribulation saints also flee to the wilderness?

Got me thinking..
