The link Donna Danna provided about 50 Christian ministries agreeing to give up spreading the Gospel in Israel takes us to a preterist website and from the dates of the responses posted by readers, it is, in fact, several years old.  I believe the law referred to in the column, a law which would have made spreading the Gospel illegal in Israel was proposed in 1997.  Many responses to the article posted by readers dated from 2003 and were exceptionally vitriolic and anti-Semitic.  Even the positions of those who were alleged to have compromised the gospel in this article were apparently either taken out of context or changed by the author.
 
As a news item, I do not recommend that this link be taken seriously.
