                       MYSTERY OF THE LAMB

One day the LORD said to me, "Child come near My knee.
I want to explain to you a mystery.

Once upon a time a King sent a spotless Lamb to be hung upon a tree."
(He was suspended there for me.)

"The crowd that formed derided the Lamb and cast their stones at Him.
He suffered all upon that Limb.

Not once did the Lamb accuse as He hung from up above.
He meerly looked down at them in Love.

The Lamb's eyes filled with tears as no one recognized who He was
They thought He suffered without a cause.

'If they do not know Me, how can they receive Me?' He cried.
His heart beckoned to them, then He died.

Three days later an earthquake shook the tomb where He lay at dawn.
The Lamb emerged with no grave clothes on!

Among the angels walked the Lamb, all dressed in shining white.
It was apparent to them that He was the Light.

ALL who have wisdom and are not fools know now who He is.
Wise ones accept His was and become His.

Someday He'll come again, but not to hang on a tree.
Man no longer, LORD of Lords is who He shall be."

His Servant,
