To Five Doves:
Sooooooooooooo...  another date has passed.  Well, we may not know the? date, but we do KNOW the season.?  So many solid? dates have come and gone since I first started watching Five Doves some 7 years ago.   I especially thought Miriam's analysis last year about 38 years pointing to Rosh Hashana 2005 made a lot of sense.
 
But..this MUST still be the season right??  Surely it MUST!!  Here are a few things still pressing on my mind.
1)      Obviously the generation that sees ALL these things come to pass we ARE that generation
2)      Iran going nuclear  and declaring the end of Israel
3)      International Political problems:
                  Iraq:  things just aren't getting any better and the costs continue to mount, financially and
                              With deaths of our soldiers
                  Russia:  We  (USA) continue to be at odds with Putin, with his backing of Iran.
4)      US Financial concerns:
                  Total national debt
                  Annual national budget deficits / spending on the long? war on terror
                  The RISING cost of GAS it just HAS to impact our economy.it just HAS to!! (?)
                  Thus----How do we continue to keep the Stock Market from taking a BIG hit
                        Interest rates are RISING the DOLLAR is under pressure.
                                    Will other governments revalue to another currency?  And drop even more the demand
                                                For the US Dollar????
Scenario:   Could we have a repeat of 1987???
                        AT that time, we had a NEW Fed Chariman
                                    Interest rates were going up,and up
                                    The US stock market just kept going up and up¦..and stayed up through August, 1987
                                    The Trade Deficit finally caught up with the concerns in October¦just 1 of the
                                                Contributing factors for October's big fall.
                                    Then, (1987) the trade deficit was $153 Million annually.  Yet in JUST Jan, 2003, it was
                                                $41 Million and in JUST Jan, 2006 it was $68 million.  INCREDIBLE!!
                                                Let's see $68 Mil/MONTH vs 1997 with $150 Mil. In a whole year.
                                                And NOBODY thinks this is a problem ??
So, we are a HUGE DEBTOR nation, with a HUGE trade imbalance (importing MORE than we EXPORT)
            And that trade imbalance is being FINANCED by Foreign Nations..
 
What happens if this ALL became a BIG negative ALL AT THE SAME TIME, ON ANY GIVEN DAY?
What would happen to our US Stock market??   Dejavu,  October 1987 ???????
 
I don't know but when you add it ALL up the International Problems;  the Economic Problems;  the challenges in Israel and the middle east; not even to mention the moral problems in the US and around the world with the liberal agenda making huge inroads against our Christian agenda with Christianity becoming the second class? religion of the world has there EVER been a time like this?  And the answer is:  NO !
 
This MUST be the generation!  This MUST be the times of Mathew 24.  We just can't I.D. THE date.
 
How much longer can the world can the economy hold on?  Before something has to happen??    Could Bush be the last? president?  Can the world hold on any longer than that??
 
Personally I don't think I'll see retirement, before we see the Rapture and Christ brings us all home.
(I'm 51years old now.)  I truly had to leave the investment business because I just can't stay HOPEFULLY AND PERPETUALLY OPTOMISTIC enough to help people invest in stocks and mutual funds any longer.  And where DO you put  your money to be safe these days??   Cash bank CD's I guess
Beyond that??........gold??  It doubled in the last few years (I wasn't in it missed that move.)
Real estate??.......In Florida it doubled in the last 4 years but certainly has topped out for now. (Caught that move with a personal home there just good luck)   I'm playing options on ETF's now and then slightly up in one year but each position is fully at risk.  (I missed the last 6 month rally as I 'm just not that optimistic, but bought some SPY puts this week we'll see if the market breaks down.)  This is NOT for the average investor.
 
Anyway. Recognize, 40 years from the recapture of Jerusalem is next year in June. (Gosh, Miriam truly made such great case about 38.8 years last fall.she  really did.)  If we're going to after Iran it HAS to be before Bush leaves office. it HAS to be before IRAN really goes FULL NUCLEAR !!
 
So...are you like me?  At this stage of these "times".....do you really wonder IF the Rapture might be each Easter?? Or each Pentecost?? OR each Rosh Hashanah??  Very valid arguments can be made for each of these Feast dates.
 
Are you like me....in that even the BEST days of THIS life just don't get you too excited any more?  And money just doesn't do much for you any more??  But.....SHARING THE GOSPEL.....AND SHARING JESUS CHRIST......AND TALKING ABOUT GOD'S WORD....AND TALKING ABOUT THESE "TIMES" DO....get you excited??
