Nature: Our lease is almost up at the building where my job is located. We have a chance to move closer to where Richard & I live. I would still be an hour away, but not 1.5 hours away like I am now, and praise God, it would give me about 1.5 hours more at home each day. As it stands right now, I am gone from our home 12+ hours per day; if we moved, I would be leaving an hour later in the morning, and arriving home 30 minutes sooner at night. Please pray that the Lord will move Greg to take the offer we have to move closer! | Update: Well, Greg has just signed another 3-year lease for the office where we are presently located, so I am looking for new direction from the Lord. My guess is, after 10 years, I will be looking for another job closer to home. I dearly love Greg and my coworkers, but I can't deal with being so far away from home and never having any relaxation time as a result. Please ask the Spirit to open up my spiritual ears, let me hear the Lord's direction, and make His purposes clear to me... I want to be where He needs me to be.

Update: Yesterday, I heard from the lady near home to whom I had sent my resume on Good Friday. She had been on vacation, and had just returned yesterday. She wants to talk to me Thursday. I am praying the Lord will not let me make a mistake, and that I will intensely listen to him, and not go off half-cocked like I do sometimes... you know, the "Me Do It Meself Syndrome", since He sees the Big Picture! What makes it SO tempting is the fact that, as I said above, my current job is 90 minutes each way, this one would be 20-30 minutes each way! I'll let you know if I hear anything sooner.
