What a travesty!  Iran on the Human Rights Committee?

Iran has declared itself a candidate for the United Nations' new human rights body. As of late Tuesday, Iran was among 32 nations that are vying for a seat on the Human Rights Council, according to a U.N. website, and it is not the only troubling candidate among the 32. Other nations seeking seats include; Pakistan, Russia, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Bangladesh, Jordan, Georgia and Nicaragua.
