"RE: "Apostasy alert!""

The apostasy danger is not really about claims that Jesus didn't do miracles, or that Judas was a good guy, or that Jesus had children with Mary Magdalene, etc. etc. The reason for this is that these people are not Christians to start with, and these crazy ideas are easy to spot. In fact, a lot of the opposition to these new books (De Vinci Code, Gospel of Judas, etc.) come from established religious groups only because they get cast in a bad light (Opus Die, etc.).

The modern Apostasy to beware of is comes from those very religious leaders who actually hold to the "fundamentals" of the faith! The false teachers always say they believe in the "Apostle's Creed" because otherwise they would not be able to insert their leaven in undetected.

The things to watch out for come from "Christians" are as follows:

The danger with these groups is 100 times worse because us sheep only look at the sheep-clothes and ignore what Jesus told us about wolves.  God help us.
