"Days of Noah and 11/2006 & re: "Pregnancy""

Pam wrote: "A normal pregnancy for a woman is 40 weeks, plus or minus 2 weeks.

40 years  of  365 days instead of 40 weeks from 6/10/67 is 5/31/07.

BUT  40 years of 360 days from 6/10/67 brings us to 11/11/06.  (14400 days)"

Pam, funny you should mention that date: 11/11/06, cause that is very close to a date I was pondering just in the last couple of days! The date: 11/9/06.

I always thought this verse has great significance -

Mat 24:37  "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

So, I was looking at the days of Noah. Now read this –

Genesis 7:11-13  "In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month , the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;"

As I read it – Noah and family went into the ark, in the second month and the seventeenth day, or 2/17. So when is 2/17 ???

According to rabbinic tradition, the creation of the world was finished on Tishri 1. So the original calendar, or the so called civic calendar begins with Tishri 1. (The sacred calendar, which begins with Nisan, was instituted later by God.)  So, if Tishri was the first month during the times of Noah, then the next month, or second month is Chesvan, according to "Hebcal.com".

So, Noah and family went into the ark on Chesvan 17. So, "as the days of Noah were" – so maybe we too will be saved from the judgement upon the world, as Noah was, on the same day of some year. Chesvan 17 in 2006 is 11/9/2006 or exactly 40x360 days from when Jerusalem was restored to the Jewish nation on 6/7/1967! Very close to your date of 11/11/2006.
