"BioThermo ; plus  Mark & John"

Below are two articles on Bio-Thermo.

Also wanted to say to Mark:
In general I agree with your perspective on trusting in the Lord, along with the Bible quotes.
And I also believe that we are to do what we can, while we can.
And when we no longer can, then He steps in.
When we come to the end of ourselves and our resources, well, thank God there's God.

It's like the old farmer who said,
"God and I planted this garden...but you should have seen it before it was a garden."
The meaning is obvious... God helps those who help themselves.
Here's a maxim I think of often:
"Pray as if everything depended upon God; work as if everything depended upon you."

I don't think it is lacking in Faith to prepare for bad times ahead. It just might be sanctified common sense :)
"A prudent person foresees the difficulties ahead and prepares for them;
the unprepared go blindly on and suffer the consequences" Proverbs 22:3 and Proverbs 27:12 -- Living Bible
"Moderation in all things" Philippians 4:5

Just my two cents worth

Also to John,

I appreciated the insight you had about the 50 Lights ( Jesus walking among the 7 candlesticks or Menorahs in Revelation 1). I hadn't thought of it that way, and your perspective is a good one.

My persuasion on the rapture is that it will come only after the "man of sin" arises.
( 2 Thessalonians 2 ).
Of course that doesn't exclude occurring on a Feast Day -- and Pentecost sure would fit the bill if so designated---
The way I see it, following a  sequence of events prevents a "let-down" on the day-after the expected date  ;)

Digital Angel's Bio-Thermo patented for animals-- April 10, 2006 ..... chip + sensor
ED: The one for humans is called "Thermo Life"
Digital Angel Corporation ... announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted the Company a patent for its Bio-Thermo(R) (temperature-sensing) implantable RFID microchip, a syringe-implantable microchip designed for non-laboratory applications that uses RFID technology to determine the body temperature of its host animal. Potential applications for the BioThermo chip include non-invasive monitoring of temperatures in cats, dogs, livestock and horses and early detection of infectious diseases such as Avian Bird Flu in poultry.

Ed: Measures variables in temperature ( IMO: what Dr. Halamka tested when mountain climbing )
"The technology allows veterinarians and animal owners to quickly, simply and accurately monitor changes in the temperature of an animal, which is often a reliable indicator of wellness.
... a study to test and document the correlation between the temperature measured by the subcutaneous microchip with other common forms of temperature measurement. This study is being discussed with the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.

Ed: Note that the name of the Patent does not specify animals;
and * therefore it could also be used for human application ( Thermo Life ) *
Patent: "Method and Apparatus for Sensing and Transmitting a Body Characteristic of a Host"
