The above
prophetic insight is even more fascinating in light of the relevancy of
Ezekiel's 430 Days, which predicted to THE DAY the restoration of Israel
as a nation again, in 1948.
When
Israel's punishment began with King Nebuchadnezzar's siege of Israel, there
were 19 years between the first Siege and the "Beginning of Desolations"
of Jerusalem. So there was a gradual loss of power and freedoms with
the Jews. The EXACT reverse happened when Israel became a nation again
in 1948, a gradual restoration of power to the Jews. Even though they
had become a nation again in 1948, they still did not possess Jerusalem,
the Holy Capital of Israel. It was 19 years later during the 1697
war when Israel regained control of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount!
And
now the above 40 year revelation. This "fits" with Christ's warnings
about THAT GENERATION shall not pass away until the end. A generation
is often identified as 40 years. 1967 + 40 = 2007.
