Where the Carcass is....
Mt. 24:28 For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Here is what I feel the Holy Sprit has taught me. And folks we are CLOSE!!! I will add to this as the Holy Spirit leads...
This verse would easily be recognized by the Jews as a "covenant". In Gen. 15 Abram seeks a sign that the promise God made him would be true. So, God having none greater than himself, sealed the covenant in this way.
He told Abram to take a 3 year old: heifer, she-goat, ram and divide their carcasses in half and also a turtledove and a pigeon, but don't divide those two. And when Abram did, and when fowls came to eat on the carcass, Abram shewed them away. And it came to pass that God came and walked between the carcasses sealing the covenant with His light.
Now...Jesus sealed that covenant physically upon the cross. The Holy Spirit represented is an eagle for the Holy spirit is "our seal" UNTIL...Eph. 1:14 the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory...the title deed to earth and His Kingdom.
This verse symbolically is the covenant with the church who "shews" the fowls away from the Gospel and whom ever "gathers at the Cross of Christ" is an eagle, spirit filled and sealed until he comes to take His Kingdom and open the 7 seals.
Now...in the Abram Covenant the offerings also symbolize Christ and the false peace treaty that will be made by a/c.
Here are the meanings of these words from the concordance:
Heifer: servant
She-goat: strong, but when plural is masculine, goats hair
Ram: a politial leader, strong tree (not fruit)
Pigeon and turtle dove: both are doves, but one is "ring necked"
Christ's symbols"
Heifer, he came to serve; she-goat, strong but masculine in the pluaral as He is Father, Son and Holy Ghost; ram he is THE political leader...King of Kings and Lord of Lords and the tree is the one they hung Him on; Pigeon and turtledove are the offerings Mary and Joseph took to the temple for a burnt offerring and sin offering for their childs birth (they couldn't take a lamb as they were poor so they were allowed to do this, but they actually had THE Lamb with them and didn't know it). :)
When Christ hung on the cross, satan saw a victory...he thought. But what he saw was sack cloth...goat's hair. Let me explain...When Saul (an a/c spirit) sought to kill David and end the Messianic line, he sent his messengers to go get him. When they arrived, Michal (interesting name? Michael) told them that he was sick and when they looked in they saw goats hair on the pillow and thought it was David and told Saul. Saul sent them again to get David and "bring him on his bed" and when they returned they realized they had been fooled and that David had fled and Saul was wroth. The picture...when Christ hung on the cross, satan saw a defeat but he actually saw goat's hair, as 3 days later Christ rose from the dead!
I believe this scripture points also to the false covenant that Israel will make with the heifer, ram (political leader a/c), she goat, pigeon and turtledove which those two are not divided). (This one I am still in prayer and study on and will add to later.)
Maranantha!
