"Enoch Day and the Watch Day"

Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. 2 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. 3 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. 4 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. 5 Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, 6 O descendants of Abraham his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones. 7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. 8 He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations, 9 the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac. 10 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: 11 "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit."
Psalm 105:1-11

Greetings in Y'shua!

Friends and family: We are about to enter into a very important season! The Pesah (Passover) is technically already in progress and will find its main celebration with the Seder on this Thursday the 13th, according to the Lord's calendar. The feast known variously as the barley harvest and Hag HaMatzot (Feast of Unleavened Bread) begins on the evening of Thursday the 13th of April. The day after the feast (which comes to a close on the evening of Thursday the 20th) has an absolutely fascinating feature! Before I get to that, let me remind you or perhaps give you first notice of an important date - today!

Today, as most of you will read this on the 11th of April, a little known but particularly important day on the Lord's calendar begins. At sunset, (in Jerusalem) the day that is the one single day on the annual calendar appointed for "the sign for the church" will begin. It is the day above any other to watch according to the Lord Y'shua's many pleadings for those of His followers who would hear. If such statements come as a surprise to you, with great urgency I ask you to consider what I have written in the three part study I call The Sign for the Bride. The event ordained to shortly come to pass is known as the revelation of the lawless one. Once this event comes to pass, some very very VERY significant events will follow in short order, for which you will have no time for further preparation. If you wait until you see the sign to begin to prepare, you have missed the point of this present season, my friend. How do we know the sign will happen on this day? 1) Bible 2) History 3) Holy spirit revelation insight. It seems pretty obvious when you see the facts and seek the Lord about their meaning.

So, why am I excited about Friday the 21st? (the 22nd of Abib) It has to with the Bible, history and the holy spirit. Please bear with me a moment. Through much study over the years, as you may note from The Open Scroll writing "Beyond the Veil," it has been observed that we have arrived in a year that may now be compared to a particular season of biblical history. See The Threefold Model of Great Sevens for details. The week of years that began in the fall of last year compares to the week of millennia that began with Adam. The years in this week are the watches in the night referred to in Psalms 90:4: "For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night." It is then a simple matter to calculate when biblical events correspond to our calendar. One thousand years is equivalent to one watch, or year; a simple ratio of 1000:1. Many events in biblical history are known and now can and should be mapped to our calendar. During the first millennium from Adam not very many events were recorded or dated. One that was corresponds precisely to next Friday the 21st, the 22nd of Abib: The birth of Enoch. He was a character of considerable interest to us in these last days. I'm not saying I expect this day to be marked by something extraordinary, but I would not be the least bit surprised if it were! Regardless of what may or may not happen then, it is good to be informed of the facts so we are prepared with knowledge in the event the Lord cares to bestow upon us some special blessing in this season.

You can read of his birth and genealogy in Genesis 5. Genesis 5:21-24 reads:

21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. 22 And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

By taking Enoch away when He did, God stamped the number of the days of the solar year upon Enoch. (Solar = Sun = Bridegroom) He is thus associated with a year/day by reason of this number. In Jude 1:14-15 we see him stamped with the number seven, the number of days in a week. He is further identified therein as one who prophesied about the Lord's coming with his saints in judgment, which is to be fulfilled in this week of night watches! This is considered to be the first recorded prophecy. Will this prophetic testimony be brought forth anew as a first of its kind?

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones 15 to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

More insight into the departure of this man Enoch is given in Hebrews 11:5:

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

This is all very exciting! I do not believe this is the year that will find the revelation of the lawless beginning the series of awesome events to follow, but I do believe that watching during this season will be rewarding.

So what do I find propitious or promising in all this? Enoch's birthday is the day following the day appointed for the Bride Theft. Do you know what his name means? Initiated, dedicated, disciplined -- commencement, teaching. Hmmmmm. Again, I do not expect the Bridegroom to steal His Bride next week, but Lord willing I will watch and be alert, armed with this knowledge of our present time.

Watch with me, dear one. May He find you watching when He comes.

Notes:
A day in a year-day is equivalent to (1/365=x/1000 or 1000/365) 2.74 years in a millennial-day
Formula: .36525 * year FA = days from 9/6/2005
