Like the Psalms may relate to years, could Ezekiel 38-39 relate to the 38th and 39th years since 1967?
 
Disengagement from Gaza happened only after 38 years...and is likely just the beginning.
 
Russia's indirect support of mid-east nations (via nuclear, political, training, supplies, etc.) could definitely pull them into more direct involvement against Israel in the future. If Russia & China are using the mid-east to do their bidding...their hand is already implicated and it may be only a short while before it becomes clear.
