Let's
talk about The DaVinci Code: I'll put it bluntly, this is a movie Christians
should not see. I hope that you will read 2 Peter
2 again & again. You see, false teachers were promised
to come INTO the Church in these last days & they have been penetrating
it for quite some time now. It IS possible to fall away from the faith,
and if anything is going to cause Christians to do that -- this movie can
get it done. Do not let anyone STEAL YOUR CROWN {or more importantly
your faith!} ~ only those who CONTINUE in the faith and OVERCOME to the end
will be in heaven.
Please do not give in to all the hype & think it's "okay" to go see it
for entertainment purposes.

Many times we've even nixed going to see a movie at all ~ after what I'd read
about it.
I can take most all forms of cussing (if I have to) ~ but I absolutely cannot
stand to hear God's name taken in vain. So the minute I read that a
movie has that in it -- I will not go see it.
There's a DVD service that a person can subscribe to where -- they "clean
up" the movies for you ~ take out the violence & cussing -- I guess they're
still in business. I've never used 'em ~ just didn't want to be on the
hook for yet another $20./month commitment ~ but if anyone's interested, I

On the movie link -- christian answers, just wait till ya' read HOW HORRIBLE
the movie, "Hostel" was ~ and ppl actually see that kind of trash!! ~ and
then wonder why crime has gotten so bad!! There was one gal giving a review
who said if she could do anything, it would be to get those movie images
out of her mind!! {the movie, according to the synopsis,
was about college guys being kidnapped & turned into sex slaves.... and
then tortured beyond belief}
Anyway, we shouldn't be wanting to watch movies like THAT anyway......

So for Christians who may "wonder" is it "all right" to go see worldly, awful,
trashy movies -- I think this Psalm {as well as these other Scriptures} pretty
much answers it!
BTW, have any of you seen "Time Changer" ~ oh, I like it! Wouldn't
mind ordering a copy from www.ChristianBook.com ~ when I find
a nickel rolling up a hill, that is! ;) It's about a guy in an
earlier century who goes into a "time machine" & is put into OUR generation
-- and so he's able to SEE the corrupt, filthy living that ppl are into --
and he tries to warn ppl that these ARE the last days spoken of in the Bible
-- 'course you can imagine how ppl turn a deaf ear. Good movie!
I hope & pray that this DaVinci movie will be the last satanic effort
to win hoards for the enemy's side & that Jesus will be on His way!! **MARANATHA!!**
