Concerning the flood. As I understand it, if all the earth was scraped into the oceans and everything was made flat, the waters would cover to a depth of 600 feet.  I guess it's a maricle that we are on dry land.
 
The animals came to the ark (brought by God).  Noah didn't have to go get them.
