Greetings!
I am no expert Donna, but I have a thought concerning Revelation 13 and the seven “heads” interpretation.I have heard it in part relates to Daniel vision of the statue and it representing the world empires of human history. The “five fallen” means they are important kingdoms or empires that are past history. The “one is” refers to the Roman Empire, since it was the current empire at the writing of the book. The “one yet to come” refers to the last empire, which is the Anti-Christ’s empire and a future empire.
All of these powerful empires had and have the same goal: global government and ecumenical religion.
The “seven hills” definitely refers to Rome in my opinion. It is built across seven hills and is known as the city of seven hills.
The “10 horns” represent the leaders of various countries who will makeup the AntiChrist’s kingdom. The “little horn which rises up” represents the “AntiChrist” himself. He rises up among these leaders and “charms his way” to the top and into power and control over all the other 10. More countries will become part of this kingdom. Keep in mind though, there are some countries (other than the 10) which will appose the AntiChrist and make war with him.
I could definitely be mistaken in my interpretation but I just wanted to add my thoughts for you.
Yours in Christ, Tracy K.
