I was glad to see most people do not doubt the plain sense of the Bible telling us there was a global flood.  There are many fantastic things in the book of Genesis, including people living to 900 years old and also a calendar given as a 30 day month and apparently 360 day year.  I want to remind people that Daniel and Revelation describe the exact same calendar returning.  A switch from that calendar todays 365 / 29.5 calendar and back again can be explained due to the passage of a large body either behind or in front of Earth to slow or speed up our solar year, respectively.  The Bible means what it says!
